Rock the Hill

Budweiser and The Rockin' Rodeo sent a bunch of lucky customers to the concert on the hill. It was an awesome show, even with the rain!! People got a little wet but the music was rockin', so everything worked out.
The day was packed with top notch acts from Sugarland to Alan Jackson to Brooks and Dunn. What better way to enjoy it than in the Budweiser VIP area.

You Ain't Gettin' My Country...

Moncton's own, The Divorcees (www.thedivorcees.com) will be holding the CD Launch party at the Rodeo Saturday, August 26th for their debut cd titled, "You Ain't Gettin' My Country".

Doors open at 9pm and regular cover charge is applied ($4.50).

The band will hit the stage at 9:30 sharp and play all the songs off their CD.

At 11pm, the regular Country in the City club night will start.

Get there early and support local music!!

Country Rocks The Hill...

The Rock Island Line

Considering all things that happened during the day... the show was a good one.

It all started early in the morning when we received a call from the company doing the sound for the show that there was an accident. The employees were ok but the gear was scattered over the highway and in a field.

That led to many rapid phone calls to try and scrounge some gear for the show. Considering it was Sunday during a long weekend, it wasn't an easy task. But we somehow managed to get some gear and the show went on.

The Rock Island Line were great as usual... played all of Johnny's hits and more.

What started out a stressful day turned into a great way to cap off a long weekend!

What a show!! Aaron rocked the house for over two hours!! He kept the crowd rockin' with hit after hit! His band was all killer and no filler.

Starting the night off in style were The Divorcees. This up and coming band is bound for big things. They're here again this weekend for the long weekend bash as the Rock Island Line - Johnny Cash Tribute.
